Lianeli, a prevention tool evaluated
within an academic medical research framework

Lianeli is a prevention tool designed by physicians and evaluated within an academic medical research framework.

From the outset, the project was built around a strong requirement: to offer a solution that is useful in practice, but also rigorously evaluated.

The ADER scientific program was set up to study the real-world use of Lianeli, its understanding, acceptability, and feasibility in real-life conditions, particularly in general practice.

This approach positions Lianeli within a science-based, field-tested, and continuously improving framework, in service of fairer and more effective prevention.

This prevention tool follows the same approach as the entire Lianeli platform: guiding each user according to the recommendations of the French National Health Authority (HAS), with a constant standard of scientific rigor.

Why is scientific research needed?

In prevention, good intentions aren't enough.

Offering a digital tool doesn't guarantee its real-world usefulness, nor its impact on health practices. Prevention cannot rely on intuition or technology alone: it must be evaluated, according to scientific, ethical, and clinical criteria.

This is the context in which the ADER program was created. Its goal is to study Lianeli as a genuine health tool: understanding how it is perceived, used, and integrated into everyday practice, particularly in general practice.

This approach follows a rigorous academic framework, respectful of patients, healthcare professionals, and national recommendations. Evaluation is what ensures that innovation truly serves prevention — and becomes a lasting part of care pathways.

What is the ADER program?

The ADER program aims in particular to:

  • assess patients' understanding and acceptance of the tool,
  • analyze its use during consultations,
  • measure its feasibility in healthcare professionals' daily practice,
  • position prevention within a structured medical decision-support framework.

Designed around a progressive evaluation model, ADER unfolds in successive stages, allowing for a rigorous progression from an exploratory framework toward efficacy evaluation.

How is the ADER program structured?

The ADER program is organized into several successive phases, each corresponding to a specific stage in the scientific evaluation of Lianeli.

ADER-QUEST: exploratory phase

This first phase covers the exploratory work on medical decision-support systems applied to prevention and screening.

It made it possible to:
⚪️ analyze existing screening recommendations in France,
⚪️ study digital decision-support tools in primary care,
⚪️ lay the methodological groundwork for the ADER program.

ADER-F: feasibility study

ADER-F is the phase currently underway. It is a feasibility study, conducted under real-world conditions in general practice.

The goal is to verify that using Lianeli is:
⚪️ understandable for patients,
⚪️ acceptable within a consultation,
⚪️ compatible with healthcare professionals' daily practice.

Les premiers résultats sont positifs : la faisabilité de l’outil est confirmée à 80 %.

ADER-E: efficacy study (upcoming)

The ADER-E phase will be the program's next step.

Its goal will be to evaluate the efficacy of Lianeli on screening pathways, building on the lessons learned from the previous phases.

This step-by-step progression ensures a rigorous evaluation, aligned with medical research standards.

What's next for the ADER program?

The ADER program is part of an ongoing research effort. After the ADER-F feasibility phase, the next step will be the ADER-E phase, dedicated to evaluating the efficacy of Lianeli on screening pathways. This future phase will allow for a deeper analysis of the tool's impact, building on lessons learned in the field.

The goal remains the same: to keep developing Lianeli on solid scientific foundations, in service of prevention that is ever more useful, reliable, and suited to care practices.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Lianeli prevention tool?

Lianeli is a digital prevention tool designed by physicians, which helps each user identify the screening tests and prevention steps suited to their profile, based on HAS recommendations.

Is Lianeli scientifically validated?

Yes. Lianeli is evaluated as part of the ADER academic research program, conducted under real-world conditions in general practice, in partnership with Inserm and Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1.

What does ADER stand for?

ADER stands for Aide à la Décision sur les Dépistages Recommandés (Decision Support for Recommended Screenings). It is a scientific research program dedicated to evaluating the Lianeli tool.

Where does the ADER-F study currently stand?
